AVAILABLE POSITIONS

EVENTS ASSISTANT

(part time)

$20 per hr

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting the events team with a high number of events, ranging from small intimate events to large corporate functions

  • Promoting Just Dreams and Dream Space across all social media platforms

  • Supporting Just Dreams and Dream Space with logistical and administrative support

  • Maintaining records of all event bookings for both Just Dreams and Dream Space

  • Attending client meetings and site visits to act as a second point of contact for Just Dreams and Dream Space clients

  • Ad-hoc duties at events including, but not limited to, guest list management and checking in party guests and showing guests to tables.

  • Helping with the set up and breakdown of Just Dreams and Dream Space events efficiently through to completion

  • Prepare and distribute invoices for Just Dreams and Dream Space clients

  • Availability for weekend and holiday work

Essential requirements:

  • High School Diploma

  • Experience in a similar role is a bonus but not required

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Flexible Schedule

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Passionate about event planning & design

  • Strong communication skills

  • Confident with MS Excel & MS Word

  • Proficient Social Media user

  • Ability to multitask

  • Your own transportation 

  • Ability to work solo and in a team setting

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting

EVENT SETUP/BREAKDOWN CREW

(part time)

$17-$20 per hr

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting in all aspects of event setup and breakdown as needed including but not limited to pre-event preparation and post event cleanup

  • Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events, including chairs and tables

  • Assembly and disassembly of all event infrastructure

  • Ensuring Just Dreams warehouse is clean and organized

  • Assisting with cleaning Dream Space before and after every event

  • Performing deliveries of rental products to and from client events

  • Ensuring the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of event equipment and rental products

Essential requirements:

  • High School Diploma

  • Experience in a similar role is a bonus but not required

  • Flexible schedule

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Ability to perform under stress

  • Heavy truck license is a bonus but not required

  • Your own transportation

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting

  • Ability to work solo and in a team setting
